Who We Are

We are people who want to achieve peace and understanding in the world. No
wars. No religious disputes. No arguments over territory. Sound
impossible? Consider the alternatives: Tens of millions of people killed
in the last one hundred years alone. And this has been going on for
millennia.
And for what? Usually so that one ruler could take territory away from his
neighbor. But rulers don't rule that way any more, right? You can't just
lead a whole lot of people into battle to acquire more territory for the
boss, right? But you CAN lead people into battle if they feel threatened,
so the challenge becomes, "How do you make people feel threatened?" By
attacking them, of course.
So now if someone wants to start a war, he just rounds up a bunch of
lunatics and starts attacking people and the next thing you know, he's got
a nice little war going.
We're going to stop this destructive cycle of violence. We the people of
the world are not going to rush to war every time someone provokes us.
We're not going to turn the other cheek. We'll do our best to exterminate
the warmongers, but ONLY the warmongers. We'll try love and reason first,
and only fight if love and reason fail, but we won't be dragged into
unnecessary wars without protest.
This site provides a means of communicating with each other, to learn about
each other and know our own strength. We can save the human race from
destroying itself if we all work together.
